There is an increasing demand for energy and resources for the power sector in Africa. In order to fully eliminate Africa’s energy deficit by 2025, $55 billion worth of investments is set to be mobilized.

Africa needs energy to be able to grow and develop its full potential. GOA is committed to investing in all parts of the energy matrix, this includes power generation and distribution.

Health Care

We are looking at investment opportunities in the healthcare industry that have the potential to deliver quality, and affordable healthcare.
We intend to invest in both greenfield and existing healthcare businesses. Our approach involves collaborating with highly skilled technical partners and advisers to develop opportunities from an early stage, de-risking the asset to realize a significant value uplift. Kenya is a key hub in providing an ideal platform for healthcare expansion into Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and the larger East African Markets.
Our focus is on start-ups that promise a high impact, high returns and sustainable in the long run. Our overarching goal is to invest in life changing start-ups with potential for great returns.

Real Estate

We have a specific mandate to invest in the real estate sector, both retail and commercial, our strategy is to leverage off the expansion of Africa economies and its impact on both individuals and companies.
Africa is experiencing a rise in consumer spending by the increasingly affluent middle class, the need for modern retail facilities currently far outstrips the supply. Our experience and risk mitigating strategies in Africa assist in identifying and implementing sound development opportunities as well as navigating the renowned challenging landscape.
The acquisition of strategically located urban real estate is integral to our investment process. We partner with the largest and most successful retail companies in Africa as tenants, in order to deliver superior investments to the market. Our highly competent team are able to proactively pick out and mitigate any potential risks.
We also are keen to partner with real estate residential developers to fulfil the huge deficit that currently sits in the housing sector across Africa. We believe that decent affordable shelter is at the core of human dignity.

Education

Sub-Saharan Africa has a population greater than 800 million which is growing at 2.3 percent per year and of which 40 percent are under the age of 15.Sub-Sahara Africa spends 5% of GDP on Education. Education spends more than 18% of Public Expenditure allocations.
We are focused on investing in high quality education across Kindergarten, Primary, High schools and Colleges. Our approach is to work with already established schools to increase their capacity and build on better quality learnings.
We believe that investing in education has a high impact in building Africa’s economy.
